The Surru Talisman was a Sith artifact created during the time of the Old Republic Era. The functionality of the
talisman is identical to the Muur Talisman. The artifact will strap itself to a Force-user and give them an ability to turn beings to beasts. Thought to be created by the Sith Master Flinn Surru to counteract his rival, Karness Muur with his Muur Talisman. Like how the Muur Talisman creates rakghouls, the Surru Talisman creates tythurrs. Unlike the their Muur's counterpart, the artifact do not hold the spirit of Flinn Surru and the talisman do not seek a new host unless the host attached died by another being, due to the artifact's ability to prevent aging.
